As a member of STPRA you will be a part of a team that is working to preserve the rights of South Texas property owners and managers. Property ownership is not a requirement. Though our main area of interest is south of an imaginary line that extends from Houston to Austin to Del Rio, membership is open to anyone who cares about the issues that face our region.

• Frequent news and updates on important issues for property owners
• Advocacy at the state and federal levels for landowner interests in:
  
  • Eminent Domain
  • Fever Tick Eradication
  • Limiting landowner liability for actions of law enforcement on their property
  • Border Security and Trespassing
  • Groundwater Conservation
• Education for our members and the public on property owner issues through forums, seminars, and printed materials
• A vehicle to unite South Texas property owners and join forces with similar state-wide organizations such as TSCRA, Texas Wildlife Association, and the Farm Bureau
