The South Texans’ Property Rights Association (STPRA) was
formed in 2006 and brings the power of information and rational
discourse to many of the issues that face our region. We are an
educational resource for our members and the general public and
serve as a catalyst for finding solutions to some of the important
challenges that exist for South Texas property owners and
managers.

We disseminate information through a variety of means. Besides
using electronic and printed media, we sponsor forums, seminars,
conferences and other types of meetings to facilitate the exchange
of facts and ideas and appear before Congressional, legislative,
and administrative bodies.

The STPRA is governed by its members and board of directors.
STPRA’s Executive Director is Susan Durham of Brooks and Jim
Wells Counties, Texas. Marketing Director is Anne Thurwalker of
Jim Wells and Jim Hogg Counties, and Robert Howard, STPRA
Consultant of Austin.
We operate with charitable tax, tax-exempt contributions. For further
